How to Use the NS Co-travel discount

If you have a season ticket for the Netherland’s train system such as “Dal Vordeel”, you can can use the “40% Co-travel discount during off-peak hours for up to 3 passengers travelling with you”. The steps to do so are always hard to find so I document below.

1. Click “deel samenreiscode” from this page https://www.ns.nl/mijnns#/dashboard and copy your code.

2. The code can be redeemed here https://www.ns.nl/en/co-travel-code by your friend (or you can buy their ticket on their behalf). Alternatively in the NS app click “Products” and then the “Co-travel with discount” button.
